Despite being unable to update here for almost a month due to a very increased workload, I have not been idle in the lab. There is one main area of interest that has been quite prominent and I hope to explain it adequately and with brevity….well, at least adequately – writing with brevity has never been my strong suit.

 Fire The Grid was a global initiative that was held on July 11. For those who are not familiar with this hour of global unity, it was designed to send healing energy to help heal Mother Earth and I highly suggest you follow the above link. The story behind it is quite fascinating and very heartwarming. The object of this global project was to spend one hour in meditation and concentrate on assisting Mother Earth in healing. I considered a number of possibilities for accomplishing this and settled on Drunvalo Melchizedec’s Earth Sky Technique. As I began to concentrate on my gratitude and love for all the amazing things in nature, a strange thing happened. It was like a dam bursting inside me and I found myself crying – not out of sorrow but of sheer gratitude. It was an amazing experience because I’ve never felt this before, at least not anywhere near as powerful. And even when I switched to make the connection with Father Sky, I found my mind swimming once again with gratitude for the beauty and serenity of a starry night sky. Little did I know but that was merely the appetizer.

For the last few months, the pain in my back (two damaged disks) had been getting progressively worse and my attempts to alleviate it were met with very limited success. On that day, I did take my meds right afterwards but they were the only ones I needed for that entire day. The following day, the pain had receded even more and I became both confused and optimistic about this, largely because the next day the pain returned with a vengeance and stayed with me for a complete week. Even tracing the Governing and Central meridians had almost no effect. In a very strange twist of fate, I ran out of pain meds and was unable to get more for about a week.

I’ve been working with the Law of Attraction and manifesting needs for quite some time and my request to the universe for assistance was met once again in a very unusual way. When the medication ran out and I became almost frantic, the pain all but disappeared over night…I know, this sounds like a ridiculous claim but my requirements, as far as pain relief, were cut by about 90%!!! I had been getting so used to waking up to take meds just to get around reasonably well that I was in shock when I realized that I didn’t need anywhere near as much as before. Anybody who has suffered with sciatica-type pain knows how it can impact on one’s quality of life. With only the odd day that I'd experience this pain enough to distract me, I am quite pleased and extremely grateful.

Nick's Note: If any of you participated in Fire the Grid, I'd be very interested to know if you experienced anything unusual. One of the things I found distressing at first was that I found my mind wandering as I meditated. I employ two different methods to alleviate this but was unsuccessful for the most part. I found that I was being subjected to images that seemed to be wreathed in clouds...seriously. And the really unsual part was that all I could remember of them were they involved different shapes, mainly circles, and in very intense colour.

 

LIGHTWORKERS: For those of you who understand, you might want to check out my good friend Lady Wolfen Mists latest entry. The message she received  from what she calls ALB's is almost ominous in its intensity. Having personally worked with one that she mentions named Michael, his appearance as confirmation that the messenger was indeed from the Light is very, very similar to a guide that assisted me in much the same way named Latania. The message was quite poignant for me, for reasons I cannot explain at present, but I strongly urge you to check it out.

 

The practice of exorcism used to be fairly rare in the West, usually carried out somewhat furtively in Catholic communities and usually without a whole lot of fuss and bother. In recent years, however, the practice has gained popularity among evangelical denominations, and unlike the Catholic variety, these are often carried out by laypersons, "prayer groups," and ministers acting on their own, often on people who are unwilling or unable to consent. Also disturbing is the criteria by which one can be considered demon-possessed- in some circles, brain disorders, birth defects, or mental illness can all be ascribed to demonic activity and purged through prayer and the "laying on of hands." A common technique in these lay exorcisms is to make the "demons" believe the host body is in danger of dying, a method which often ends in the real death of the victim. Worse, the media is glorifying this behavior- CBS, for example, is plotting a series based on the life of evangelical scammer Bob Larson- consequences be damned, apparently.

There are two recent cases in the news in the last few days, both of which ended very badly. One involved the death of a grandfather at the hands of police, who shot him with a stun gun after he refused to stop choking his three year old granddaughter. The other involves the recent arrest of a preacher whose attempted exorcism of an autistic teenager included beating the boy senseless. Earlier this year, a Romanian priest was sentenced in the death of a mentally ill nun who was chained to a cross without food or water.

In separate incidents in 2004, a little girl's back was broken and a little boy was suffocated in botched exorcisms. A year before, another autistic boy was smothered by his mother's prayer group, who was attempting to cure his demon-provoked autism.

Thoth

August 6th marked the date of the ancient Egyptian Feast of Thoth, the God of writing, magick, and learning. His image is that of an Ibis-headed man, and he is often depicted carrying out his duties as the scribe of the Gods. He is credited with the creation of language, numbers, and the measurement of the passage of time. He is the husband of Ma'at, the Goddess of universal balance (law), and was believed to record the deeds of the living, which were later recounted in the Hall of Judgement, where the weighing of the soul took place after death. like Isis, he is a lunar deity.

To later Alexandrian Gnostics, he was one of the three gods making up the deity Hermes Trismegistos, or "Hermes the Thrice Great." Thoth is still considered the patron of magicians and sages, and is credited with the origin of the tarot.

Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine

This Order claims to have originated in Arabia, is a secret order and supposedly closely affiliated with Freemasonry. Only Knights Templar and 33rd degree Masons were eligible for membership. The Mystic Shrine dates back to 1876, where it was formed by an actor named Billy Florence and a few close associates, including General Lew Wallace, the author of "Ben Hur" and he is said to have contributed much of the Oriental atmosphere including the red fez, chants and brilliant costumes. The first "Temple" was formed in New York City and was called "Mecca" after the birthplace of Mohammed. Later temples were named Medina, Kaaba, Al Koran and even Damascus.

Part of the flamboyant costume worn by members on parade was the Turkish fez which symbolized subjection to the Turkish Dominion. The badge worn upon each breast was the Moslem symbols of the crescent and scimitar. The Mystic Shrine in America was said to be a charitable and social organization, devoted to the welfare of Freemasonry.The governing body was known as the Imperial Council with subordinate branches known as Temples.

As for our situation, it is simply a good old Pluto transit for my husband, as well as the eye of the Universe Itself is upon us. Not for a bad reason, far from it. Just a an, “Okay, kids, you did what you could and it was a fine job. Things have changed though, and it is time for you to move onto a new path and far better things. Time for different type of work, a broader range, new people and lives to touch, so pick-up and get a move on. Folks are waiting out there for you.”
All well and good, but man, these times of trial can still be a real bummer! ;) Good has been coming in along with the bad, yet many things to be learned here.
Recalls to mind the idea that if you are going to walk the spiritual path, know it is not an easy one. If you can’t cut it, better to not even start.
Well, tell you truth, I’d far rather be EXACTLY who I am now then not take the blows because of it. See too many people walking through this world numb, blind to the possibilities and joys, simply because they are afraid of being whom they truly could be.
Ah, the kittens. So sorry about that. Miss Jinx was a rescue herself. Abandoned by college kids going home. That it the standard around here. However, it ALL worked out for the best. Had lost my familiar of seventeen years the October before and the entire house was empty. Well, Miss Jinx came along and life returned, even to our old Malamute, Timber. A 13 year old puppy now, and they love the other completely. Couldn’t ask for more.

Whew, talk about parallels alright! Understand EXACTLY what you are talking about in your latest message here at my place, including the vacuum and the re-connecting with other people. Seems to be a major part of all that is going down here.

Fall Equinox...oh, yes indeed, something truly major happening at that time this year. For many apparently. Tell me, you think, ahem, ‘certain’ folks are getting the no ifs and or buts about it nudges from the Universe to up-root and haul it elsewhere or what? Been seeing it left right and sideways here for a LOT of people. Part of the problem here, there simple seems to be no one left in the area anymore.

We hold psychic fairs, are psychics ourselves, and the past two years have been full of people getting slammed with major changes, asking for help and advice, or just someone to listen who might comprehend the feelings they can not describe to others they know in daily lives. It hits them hard, The TOWER CARD sending what they thought their permanent world tumbling down around them, yet as all their fears are brought before their faces, strength seems to be coming up from wells unknown, and after the plunge is taken, we are seeing, receiving emails and calls from people whom are not only much, much happier, actually incredulous with the new phases in their lives. Not all of them of course, fear, insecurities do win plenty rounds themselves, yet for those who were willing to take charge of themselves...whew, has to leave you smiling; confirm once again that their IS a reason for things to happen. Oh, of course random things, jangled energies, broken agreements and just plain accidents will occur, still, from the numbers we have seen here...takes your breath away. As well as gives my husband and myself hope, even a confirming certainty that what is waiting before us is a fine thing.

P.S. Re our ‘lessons’ and the pain associated with, I think the hardest one is when you are awake and Aware...and most everyone around you is not. Wonder how it is that they are blind and unfeeling of so much. Yes, that is the most difficult cross to bear, the one which has you feeling so alone in the world. Thank gods for the internet, all its own problems aside, it still does, on occasion, allow real beings to connect. LOL my best friend, closest confidant and ally for past several years lives in Canada. Go figure.

O_o' Nevertheless, maybe you should get your back checked on...? My dad had back pain & it was because he had ruptured a disc & needed surgery. Just in case, you know? :\

I enjoyed this entry. I actually decided to purchase two books on Freemasonry just recently. I intend to read them over the winter.

Also, I had heard that there were many exrcisms being performed in other countries on children as of late. I had heard that people were performing these exorcisms on children who were not even possessed. And that these incidents were really about child abuse. I had not heard any details, but was concerned. It is a sad world we live in at times.
